Requiem

Requiem. Saunders.  1941.  Herbaceous hybrid.  Single-form, opaque, and waxy white flowers are of great beauty.  Often opens with a pink blush that quickly fades away.  Petals ruffle lightly at the edges.  Red stigmas, green carpels, and yellow stamens stained red at their bases.  34″ height.  Excellent.  Of easy culture. No fertility noted. Parentage: (lactiflora x macrophylla).  Excellent performer. Premium divisions ship from late September to mid-October.
