Rozella

Rozella.  Reath.  1991.  Herbaceous hybrid.  American Peony Society Award of Landscape Merit & Gold Medal. Rozella is a large rose-type double with strong stems and profuse bloom.  Flower color is a vibrant, deep pink, fading lighter at the edges as it ages.  Plants are medium height growers (30″) for us and have excellent, deep green foliage.  No support is needed during bloom as plants easily hold up the large flowers for the best display.  Easy grower and is stunning in a clump. No stamens or carpels.  Superior in all respects.  A very good cut flower.  Looks like a lactiflora, but has stellar plant habits-one of the finest peonies we grow.  Premium divisions ship from late September to mid-October.
