Silver Dawn Mix. Klehm. F3 seed strain, thus not registered. The original ‘Silver Dawn” was from a cross of: (obovata ‘willmottiae’ x macrophylla) and is no longer in existance. Flowers of the advanced generation cross, ‘Silver Dawn Mix’, are white/cream or light pink to blush. They have fine substance. Silvery gray-green foliage is often touched with a crimson edge. Silvia Saunders reported the original ‘Silver Dawn’ “lost” in 1978, maybe earlier. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
