Solfatare. Calot. 1861. Lactiflora cultivar. Very fragrant. Double-formed flowers of blush pink color that fade to white. Guard petals open flat with the central petal forming an ice cream scoop-shaped mound. Central petals have a yellow cast at open and then fade to white. A gorgeous flower and excellent plant. Sturdy, long stems require no support. 2 to 3 side buds. Unknown fertility. An uncommon cultivar in the United States. Excellent cut flower with fragrance. Of easy culture. Premium divisions ship from late September to mid-October.
