Solo Flight

Solo Flight.  Saunders. 1935.  Lactiflora cultivar.  A very large Japanese form flower with flat, pale pink guard petals and bright yellow stamenodes.  Flowers fade to white as they age. The plant is tall, upright, and covered with blooms; a conspicuous plant in the garden.  It usually produces a couple of side buds per stem.  One of just a couple of lactiflora cultivars, A.P. Saunders registered. Beautiful and should be more widely grown. Premium divisions ship from late September to mid-October.
