The Mackinac Grand. Reath. 1992. Recipient of the Award of Landscape Merit for superior landscape qualities – 2012. American Peony Society Gold Medal winner – 2013. Mackinac Grand is large semi-double red with nicely ruffled petals. The red coloration leans to the red-orange side, creating a more brilliant show when in bloom. Stems are sturdy and carry the large flowers easily. Plants are tall and large, growing into tremendously beautiful clumps after a few years of growth. Highly fertile.
