Tom Cat

Tom Cat.  Klehm.  2000.  Lactiflora cultivar.  Japanese form.  Deep carmine red guard petals with cream center and light carmine petaloids.   Sturdy stems require no support. Two and three buds per stem, fragrant. The flower has two rows of carmine red guard petals, a cream center, and lighter carmine petaloids. Bomb type petalodes on blossoms from more mature plants. Blooms mid-season, strong stems, 26″ height.  This cultivar is not well known, but should be due to stellar flower presentation, consistency, plant vigor, and attractive blooms.  Vigorous, floriferous, and easy to grow. Premium divisions ship from late September to mid-October.
