Westerner.  Bigger. 1942.  Lactiflora Group. Japanese form flowers have light pink guard petals surrounding an a center made up of light yellow staminoides.  A well organized large flower which often is ignored (its quite outstanding).  Very consistent grower and bloomer.  No mechanical support needed. Awarded the American Peony Society’s Gold Medal in 1982. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
