Wind Chimes

Sold Out

Wind Chimes.  Reath.  1984.  Likely a species selection of P. anomala.  Single, lavender red flowers.  A gorgeous plant and flower with outstanding foliage.  Entire plant resembles a very large Paeonia anomola.  The 36″ stems easily carry the beautiful blooms in an upright fashion.  Foliage is finely cut as P. anomala.  Hereditary origin (registered as a hybrid) of this plant is questionable as it is doubtful that it is tenufolia hybrid.  Root system, foliage, flower and fertility resembles Paeonia anomala’s.   In any event, a favorite for flower and plant form. Highly fertile with other P. anomala selections.  Produces pollen and seed.  Outstanding in the garden and may be grown in full sun or in semi-shade. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
