Yellow Bird. Johnson/Adelman. 2019. Seedling number BJ#1. Parentage: Salmon Dream x Lemon Chiffon. A very full semi-double flower which appears to be double. The large rounded 6-7 inch flowers are carried one per stem and are a uniform light yellow. Stigmas pink, normal anatomy. Pollen-bearing stamens with yellow filaments. Fertility not noted. Fragrant. Leaflets are dark green and rounded. Plants 20 inches in height and require no additional support. Awarded Certificate of Merit in Class 301 at APS Exhibition held in Louisville, Kentucky (2015), and subsequently advanced to Court of Honor as Best Seedling. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
