Karen North. Asiatic Hybrid. This is a tall and seldom offered turk’s cap type. Orange with maroon spotted flowers are mid sized at around 4″ and petals recurve. The candelabra flowering stems exhibit blooms in a well separated fashion. Flowers face downward on tall stems. This cultivar is stoloniferous and creates large wide spread clumps over time. Blooms in early-mid July. Premium bulbs ship after October 15 – the proper planting time for northern tier gardens.
