Ledvina Trumpet

Ledvina Trumpet. Trumpet Hybrid.   This is a very tall, large, honey-yellow flowered cultivar.  The very large flowers are down-facing and are long-lasting.   Plants may attain a height of 9 feet if well-grown. Excellent plant habit with deep green waxy foliage.  Support is needed for the tremendous plants. Blooms in mid-late July.  Plants arrive at us through Dennis Ledvina, the renowned Magnolia hybridizer who dabbled in many plant hybridizing projects.  Premium bulbs ship after October 15 – the proper planting time for northern tier gardens.
