Akashigata. Japan. Suffruticosa. Medium-large semi-double light pink flowers with darker central petal coloration. This is an very good cultivar that has proven to have better disease resistance for us. Excellent stem hardiness and good rate of growth. Plants in the open field attain 3 and half feet in 6 years and are covered in flowers season. Very good and difficult to find. Fertile both ways. Ships in late September to mid October.
