Brassy Lady.  Seidl.  1996.  Advanced generation lutea hybrid.  Parentage: (Golden Era x SH-39) SH-39 is a cross of Golden Era x Chinese Dragon.  First bloomed 1990, as a four-year-old seedling. Amber tan petals with rose edging and shading, darker flares, purple sheath, cream stigma. Double, 35+ petals. Good substance, reliable, stamen, pollen, seeds and fragrant. Strong stems with early flowers borne near foliage and later flowers on long stems.  Clump measures 36″ high x 40″ wide. Vigorous, attractive bronzy foliage when young and deep green later. Fertile both ways.  Superior and much sought after.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
