Urania

Urania.  Daphnis.  1995.  Advanced generation lutea hybrid.  (Golden Bowl x Companion of Serenity). Gorgeous chromium yellow without visible flares.  Single with two rows of petals.  Greenish stigmas, cream sheath and light red stamens.  Petals are wide and open flat.   Red stems and broad foliage.  Plants have poor stem hardiness in Wisconsin and will likely grow taller in less rigorous climates.  Reliably blooms on new growth from basal shoots.  Has fertile pollen, no seeds.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
