Ambrose Congreve. Smithers. 1994. P. rockii influence hybrid. Parentage, Paeonia Rockii, open pollinated from a Japanese TP. First bloomed 1986. Blush flushed pink, red flares, single, white sheath and stigmas. Good substance, pollen, stamen and seeds. Beautiful red foliage through bloom period. Very vigorous, foliage similar to P. Rockii. A strong growing plant with the habit of of a smaller statured Rock’s variety. Does best in dry situations. Seedling # 30351. Ships late September to mid October.
