Ariadne. (Daughter of King Minos).  Daphnis.  1977.  Advanced generation lutea hybrid.  Semi-double, peach w/rose edging and fringes, red central flares.  Very light pink sheath and cream stigmas.  Stamens are waxy cream yellow.   A low growing plant in which flowers are displayed outward, but are often low to the ground here in Wisconsin.  Foliage is large and deep green.  Flowers are quite large and showy.  No fertility.  (BC-2 x Impomun).  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
