Brocade. Saunders.  1941.  F1 Lutea hybrid.   Flowers are single, yellow, and have dark red flares.   Plants have narrowly dissected foliage that is quite attractive in or out of bloom.  A rarely available plant in commerce and is part of the Saunders peony conservation project.   Thanks go to those who shared scion wood for grafting in the last several years.  No fertility.  Generally, a smaller growing Lutea hybrid (3′ x 3′).  Not a difficult plant to grow, and quite rare. Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
