Burgundy Wine. Domoto/Klehm. American suffruticosa. Deep burgundy wine red, semi-double tree peony. Parentage: Moutan seedling raised by Toichi Domoto, first bloomed 1987. It has stamens, pollen, seeds, good substance with abundant amount of bloom. Good stem strength, early bloom, excellent vigor, one bud per stem, clean foliage. Center yellow stamens show when blossom fully open. A very interesting flower color. Superior. Ships in late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
