Cathedral Echo. Irvine/Sutherland. 2001. Advanced generation lutea hybrid. Light purple to lavender with blackish flares. Large semi-double formed flowers with excellent ruffling and form. Foliage is deep green and wide.  Superior plant habits.  Reliable grower in Wisconsin to 3.5 feet.  One of the best of the Irvine/Sutherland plants in our opinion.  Seed and pollen fertility.  Grown from seed sent to New Zealand in the 1990’s from Bill Seid’s hybridizing program.  Parentage:  Seidl #141 x Rosalind Elsie Franklin.  Ships late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
