Coral Star. Irvine/Sutherland. 2001. Advanced generation lutea hybrid. Soft cream base with pink/coral/peach tinges.  Petals are highly ruffled.  Flower form is semi-double to double and nearly a ball when double. Good carriage. Seedling # 465/2.  Good performance in Wisconsin with plants growing to approximately 3 feet.  Pollen fertility, but no seed fertility noted.  From Bill Seidl seed sent to New Zealand in the 1990’s.  Parentage:  (Golden Era x Rosalind Elsie Franklin).  Excellent plant and flower.   Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
