Guardian of the Monastery. Gratwick. 1959. Likely a suffrucosa-rockii ancestory hybrid. Large light pinkish-lavender single to semi-double blooms that have petals that are faded to white near the outer half. Large maroon flares.  An elegant flower carried on tall plants.  Ships late September to mid October.
