Imperial Crown. American Suffruticosa. Lineage includes Toichi Domoto cultivars. This large purple-lavender, semi-double flower has good substance, stamens, pollen, no seeds, and no fragrance. It is reliable, one bud per stem with a good amount of bloom. Height 36-48, blooms very early, good stem strength holding the large blossoms easily. Foliage is large and deep green. Seedling # K85-02. Ships in late September to mid-October. AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
