Infanta. Saunders. 1948. F1 lutea hybrid. Medium-sized white flowers, flushed in pink, with purple basal flares. Plants have red stems, and foliage is heavily tinted red. Flowers are carried on long stems that lean away from the plant. Stems are subject to die back in cold winters, but plants recover nicely. One of the later cultivars to commence growth in the spring. No fertility. A collector plant that is rarely available. Parentage unknown. Ships in late September to mid-October. AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
