Jasper. Irvine/Sutherland. 2001. Suffruticosa x Rockii lineage hybrid. Seedling # 119/10. Parentage: Rock’s Variety x ‘Stalwart Rose’.  The semi-double pink frosted flowers are borne on tall, vigorous plants.  Flowers exhibit dark flares, characteristic of Rockii lineage hybrids. Leaflets are small and are an attractive medium green.  From seed sent to New Zealand by Bill Seidl in the 1990s. Light pink with dark red flares. Mature plant height is 6 feet, and width is 5 feet.   Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
