Jushi (2 year graft)

Jushi.  Japan.  Unregistered historic Japanese suffruticosa cultivar. Very large semi-double bright violet-purple flowers.  Excellent floral display.  Easily fertile both ways.  Superior color and plant performance compared to other Japanese Suffruticosas.  Plants grow to 4 to 5 feet and as wide in Wisconsin.  In high demand and rarely available. Ships in late September to mid-October. These are 2 year old grafted plants.  While plants are relatively small, they have youthful vigor and make wonderful additions to the garden.  Plant and grow them as you would older woody peonies.
