Lois Elaine Laning. Laning. 1995. Lutea hybrid. Awarded APS ‘Best In Show’-1997. (Age of Gold x suffruticosa). Large, deep bronzed-rose full double flowers carried on tall, robust plants (4 -5 feet in Wisconsin). The overall plant is taller than wide and grows to form a large vase-shaped plant. Very unusual coloration and gorgeous form. Plants have a wide foliage of medium green. No fertility noted to date. Superior. Rarely available and outstanding cultivar. Easy-growing lutea hybrid. Ships in late September to mid-October. AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
