Ofuji-nishiki.  Japan.  Unregistered historic Japanese suffruticosa. Light lavender with darker flares, unusual color. Much like Shimane Chojuraku, but the plants are narrower in stature, and the flowers have more petals. Plants are very upright and carry their beautiful flowers to perfection.  Very good.  Fertile both ways.  Slow to propagate, but of easy culture.  Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
