Oread

Oread.  (Mountain Nymph).  Daphnis.  1996.  Advanced generation lutea hybrid.  Pale pink single with two rows of petals. Red flares that softly bleed out on to the petals.  Cream sheath and light flesh colored stigmas.  Red stamens.  Pollen fertility.  Strong growing plant grows thick stems that can be winter killed, but quickly regrow and bloom from basal eyes.  Blooms in the later part of the woody season.  Excellent and rare.  (Maria Teressa x Gessekei). Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
