Pastel Pink. Irvine/Sutherland. 2001. Suffruticosa with P. rockii influence hybrid. Pastel Pink was grown from seed sent from Bill Seidl to New Zealand in the 1990’s. Pastel Pink has very large pink flowers with the characteristic P. rockii dark basal flares. Plants are vigorous growers that have excellent stem hardiness. Each spring plants produce a multitude of well displayed flowers on sturdy stems. Fertile both ways. Seedling #119/14. Parentage: Rock’s Variety x Stalwart Rose. Ships in late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
