Persepolis. Daphinis. Lutea hybrid. Seedling number (D-145), This cultivar is rare in cultivation and is part of Woody Peony Preservation Project. It is of easy culture and should be more widely distributed. Flowers are a red blend leaning to orange. Strong stems carry the single to semi-double flower easily. Named after the ancient Persian capital. Ships in late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
