Pure Gold. Chow, Bernard. Unregistered garden named seedling (Chow #I78). Advanced generation lutea hybrid. Hybridized by Bernard Chow of Melbourne, Australia, through the use of Bill Seidl lutea hybrid lineage plants. Large cream (not gold) colored flowers with short, blunt red flares. Flowers are often carried on long stems that bend outward. Plants are wide growers and require a 5-foot space over time and reach 3 feet in height. Foliage is red-rimmed and large. Fertile with effort. (unknown x unknown). Note: The Image is a poor representative of the flowers, which are fuller and more yellow. Ships in late September to mid-October.
