Red Rascal

Red Rascal.  Gratwick.   Suffruticosa. Medium to dark red single with small outlined flares. Red sheath and stigmas. This is a historic cultivar which was used in hybridizing during the haydays of hybridizing at Linwood Gardens by Saunders and Gratwick.  Part of the Woody Peony Preservation Project.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
