Roman Gold.  Saunders. 1941.  F1 Lutea Hybrid.  Single flowers are a soft yellow leaning to gold with short blunt red flares.   Flares crimson; filaments crimson. Stigmas creamy-yellow; sheath creamy.An extremely vigorous plant with excellent foliage.  A Woody Peony Preservation Program plant due too poor distribution and lack of reservoirs.   Excellent and well worth growing.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
