Rosy White Clouds

Rosy White Clouds.  China.  Unregistered.  Suffruticosa with P. rockii influence hybrid..  This cultivar probably has a Chinese name and is a Gansu Mudan, but we have not been able to match it.  Very puffy white double flowers with dark red flares.  Petals are very wavy with fringed and notched edges.  Cream stigmas, stamens and sheath.  Carriage is upright and present the flowers perfectly.  Hardy plants are good growers and are clothed in finely cut deep green foliage.  Plants attain a height of 4 feet over time and an equal or greater width.  Excellent.  Fertile both ways.  Seed is easier since stamens/anthers are mixed in with the petals. Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
