Royal Road. Irvine/Sutherland. 2001. Advanced generation lutea hybrid. Single to semi-double flowers are a rich purple that darken toward the center. Large, broad dark maroon flares and filaments accent the red stigmas and petal color. Plants are strong growers and present the flowers well. Three feet in height, by 4 feet in width (Wisconsin). Fertility unknown at this time. Seedling #467/12. Parentage: Seidl #58 x Rosalind Elsie Franklin. Ships in late September to mid October.
