Ruffled Sunset. Reath. 1988. Advanced generation lutea hybrid. APS ‘Best In Show’-1991. Light yellow with blends of pink and red. Semi-double flower. Cream stigmas, red sheath and stamens. Plants grow to four feet in Wisconsin, probably taller in warmer climates. Flowers face outward. Easy rapid grower. Reportedly fertile, we’ve had little success thus far. (Golden Isles x Daphnis pollen). Ships in late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
