Sang Lorraine

Sang Lorraine.  Lemoine.  1939.  F1 lutea hybrid.  Dark red single with darker flares. Rarely available and a collector’s plant.  Like many of the older Lutea Hybrid introductions, Sang Lorraine lacks stem hardiness to harsh winter climates.  However, plants are strong growers and replace stems from basal shoots quickly.  Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
