Seidei. Japan. Unregistered. Historic Japanese suffruticosa. Very large double pink of outstanding form. Petals are highly ruffled and have many small fringed notches along their edges. Petals turn different directions at the center to give the flower a very full form. Excellent cold hardiness. 4′ at maturity in Wisconsin. Fertile both ways (some effort required with seed). Ships in late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
