Shichifukujin. (Seven Gods of Fortune). Japan. 1896. Unregistered historic Japanese suffruticosa cultivar. Large pink semi-double flowers which fade along the petal edges, giving it a frosted look. Flowers carried on upright stems at the top of the tall plants. Mature plant have a vase shape. Fertile both ways. These are 2 year old grafted plants. While plants are relatively small, they have youthful vigor and make wonderful additions to the garden. Plant and grow them as you would older woody peonies.
