Shimane Chojuraku. (long life). Japan. Unregistered historic Japanese suffruticosa cultivar. Large lavender flowers with dark basal flares. Presentation is upright display flowers to perfection. Plants become large with numerous large flowers. Flower buds may be subject to spring freeze damage after growth has begun (below 25 F). Excellent flower and plant. Fertile both ways. Ships in late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
