Shimano-fuji. Japan. Unregistered historic Japanese suffruticosa cultivar. Large Lavender with variations in color. Highly ruffled semi-double. Large size and one of the most striking Japanese suffruticosa cultivars. Stigmas reddish purple. To 4 1/2 feet and 6 feet wide in Wisconsin, likely taller in less rigorous climates. Fertile both ways. Superior. Ships late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
