Sir Frederick Stern.  Smithers.  2003.  P. rockii influence hybrid.  Rockii x suffruticosa hybrid.  Seedling # “Rocks M”.  Parentage: (Rocks (UK) x unknown). Purple semi-double to double flower. Stamens, pollen, and seeds. No Fragrance. Dark flares , purple carpels. Blooms early/mid-season on tall strong plants with dark green foliage.  Ships late September to mid October.
