Spring Carnival.  Saunders.  1944.  F1 lutea hybrid.  Seedling #: 14964. Saunders’ Tea Rose Group. Plants produce an abundance of single-form golden blossoms, edged and suffused with red and rose. A very pleasing combination with dark inner petal flares. A strong and vigorous grower that may lose stems during cold winters, only to be replaced the next growing season.  No fertility.  Excellent, large upright plants after a few years of growth.  This plant produces large amounts of ground shoots annually, which make a large full full-leafed shrub.  A good choice for areas that have warmer winter conditions than hardiness zone 4 in Wisconsin.  This is a favorite of ours and will surely please. Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
