Spring Carnival.  Saunders.  1944.  F1 lutea hybrid.  Single golden blossoms edged and suffused with red and rose A very pleasing combination with dark inner petal flares. A strong and vigorous grower that may lose stems during cold winters, only to be replaced quickly the next growing season.  No fertility.  Excellent large upright plants after a few years of growth.  This plant produces large amounts of ground shoots annually which make a large full foliaged shrub.  A good choice for areas that have warmer winter conditions than hardiness zone 4 in Wisconsin.  This is a favorite of ours and will surely please.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
