Spring Time Glory.  Seidl/Irvine/Sutherland.  2001.  P. rockii influence hybrid.  Rockii x suffruticosa hybrid.  Semi-double lavender-mauve.  Seedling #119/12.  Grown from seed produced from Bill Seid’s hybridizing program and selected in New Zealand. A vigorous plant with beautiful, small leaflets carried densely on very upright stems.  Plants become very large over time and make outstanding landscape specimens (in or out of bloom).  Plants require a couple of years to settle in to produce flowers. Young flower buds may be killed by frosts early in their development in some locations.  Parentage:  (Rock’s Variety x Stalwart Rose). Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
