Spring Time Glory.  Irvine/Sutherland.  2001.  P. rockii influence hybrid.  Rockii x suffruticosa hybrid.  Double lavender-mauve.  Seedling #119/12.  Originated from seed sent to New Zealand by Bill Seidl in the 1990’s.    A vigorous plant with beautiful small leaflets carried densely on very upright stems.  Plants become very large over time and make outstanding landscape speciments (in our out of bloom).  Takes a couple of years to settle to produce flowers and buds may be killed by frosts early in their development.  Parentage:  (Rock’s Variety x Stalwart Rose). Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
