Strawberry Delight

Strawberry Delight.  Reath.  1988.  F1 lutea hybrid.  Semi-double flowers of subdued strawberry pink.  Petals are well spaced vertically and are wavy, creating a rather full looking bloom.  The slender stems hold the flowers to the side, but carriage is quite acceptable.  Plant growth is relatively slow, but can be expected to reach 3 feet in Wisconsin.   No fertility.  Rarely available due to slow propagation.  Excellent and we look forward to seeing the beautiful blooms each spring.  Parentage:  (Reath lutea #14 x Shintenchi).   Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
