Surprise

Surprise.  Lemoine.  1920.  F1 lutea hybrid.   Heavy double flowers of cream base with red and salmon shading.  This cultivar is similar to Souvenir de Maxime Cornu, but is somewhat shorter in height, and the foliage is finer.  Flowers hang downward, but are excellent for cutting. Vanilla fragrance.  No fertility. Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
