White Empress.  Irvine/Sutherland.  2001. Rockii x suffruticosa lineage hybrid.  Grown from seed produced from Bill Seid’s hybridizing program and selected in New Zealand. The large vivid white flowers exhibit purple flares on ruffled petals. Strong-growing plants produce heavy woody stems.  To 4 feet in height and width. Seedling # 250/1.  Parentage:  (Godaisho x Lavender Hill). Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
